Weekly Wondering: Finding Contentment

Hello all! I'm finally back after a long break. Our third addition to the family arrived this past March and it's been a rollercoaster, but we are having a lot of fun as a family of 5.
It has now been 8 months of weekly reflections in my Weekly Wondering Journal, and there has been a consistent theme I've noticed: How to be content. I'm sure I'm not the only one who struggles with contentment in this world of "I want this, I want that." Practicing gratitude does help, but I have a feeling there's more to finding deep contentment.
"I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. [12] I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. [13] I can do all this through him who gives me strength." Philippians 4:11-13 NIV
When Paul talks about being content in Philippians 4:11-13, he says that he has learned the "secret of being content in any every situation." It truly does seem like an elusive secret that flits away anytime I think that I've finally mastered it. Anyway, I'd like to take some time to unpack the concept of contentment and really think about it deeply. What about for you? Is contentment a struggle? Let me know in the comments :)
